Derek offers over 15 years of digital experience, joining app content aggregation pioneer Handango during the emergence of the first app boom. He has since served in executive level positions at leading digital solution providers managing large teams and P&Ls.  

Derek joined Handango at a time when operators were launching wireless content solutions, supplanting the traditional tethered, PDA-based offerings. While at Handango, he developed and signed key partnerships with leading OEMs and carriers and was promoted to lead Handango's Channel business.

Derek joined July Systems as Vice President of Sales & Business Development for the Americas during a time of transition as the company shifted its business strategy from content management solutions for carriers to digital web offerings to media brands.

Following his initial tenure at July Systems, Derek served as Director of the Americas on Nokia's Content & Software Aggregation group working extensively in Nokia's dominant Latin American market. There he managed the growth of pre-loaded content and Nokia's on-device application market, Download. He returned to July Systems and was appointed to the executive leadership team as SVP of Sales & Corporate Development.

During his leadership at Floodlight Digital, Derek has spearheaded successful strategy and business development engagements with National Geographic, Telescope, 2ergo, BET, Smarter Agent and Arktan. His work with Arktan lead directly to a successful exit as the company was acquired by Janrain.

With a track record for driving revenue growth, Derek offers a deep network of media companies, sports leagues, brands, digital operators, publishers, content providers and advertising networks.

Derek graduated from Dickinson College with a BS in Geology and a minor in Economics. He also holds an MBA from Texas Christian University with a concentration in Management. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Blair Academy and as a Senior Advisor for VCap Investments. Derek, his wife and their two sons reside in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Manish has been an entrepreneur and strategic advisor for more than 11 years. His professional experience involves work across a variety of industries including software, e-commerce software, e-commerce, manufacturing and education. Manish is a keen believer in the execution of ideas.

He started his first venture immediately after finishing his Masters in Engineering at Purdue University. Through hard work and dedication, he was able to lead his maiden venture, Picsquare, to successful exit (acquired by Infibeam Corporation listed on BSE and NSE). He then moved on to help his family streamline and expand their steel manufacturing business.  

He is also mentoring three different product development start-ups on executing their ideas.

Manish was born and raised in Bhilai, a small town in central India, known for its steel plant and education sectors. He is the son of a businessman and had the opportunity to grow up in a town focused on education. He is passionate about entrepreneurship, supporting education initiatives, mentoring young talent and doing something different.

As an entrepreneur and GM at Floodlight, Manish firmly believes that it is important to have self-control, self-confidence, a sense of urgency, comprehensive awareness, realism, interpersonal relationships, emotional stability and most importantly, perseverance.

As a technical expatriate across geographies, Rupesh has been delivering technology-differentiated solutions to private, public and international customers. He has served various verticals as a technology head, has provided the leadership for driving the strategy and growth of various product lines and had boosted technology excellence across organizations.

Rupesh holds a master's degree in computer science and numerous certifications in banking, software and other domains.

Mr. Vaughan is an experienced financial advisor and investor. For over 20 years Mr. Vaughan has executed mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions for technology and media companies as an executive at Goldman Sachs, Sony Pictures, 21st Century Fox and Creative Artists Agency.

Mr. Vaughan is the founder of Vaughan Capital Advisors ("VCA"), an investment banking firm which advises technology and media companies regarding mergers, acquisitions and capital raising transactions. VCA has closed transactions, on behalf of its clients, with Apple, Oracle and WPP.

Mr. Vaughan is also a founder member of QueensBridge Venture Partners ("QBVP"). QBVP manages the QueensBridge Fund which has invested in leading venture capital-backed companies including Lyft, Dropbox, Robinhood, Casper and Thrive Market.

Vince is the proprietor of Champion Law LLC. He has practiced for nearly fourteen years and during this time has developed a wide range of legal experience.

Champion Law, LLC represents school districts, municipal entities, businesses, nonprofit businesses, financial organizations and individuals. Champion Law, LLC provides legal counsel in education law, municipal law, general business counsel, employment and labor law, daycare law, commercial litigation, civil litigation, landlord tenant law, creditors rights and contracts. For the past nine years, the last two as a Partner, Vince worked at Rhoads and Sinon, LLP, one of the largest and most well regarded law firms in Central Pennsylvania.

Vince practices regularly before Federal and State courts, Pennsylvania Department of Education, Arbitrators from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and the American Arbitration Association, the Pennsylvania Board of Claims, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, the Worker’s Compensation Board, the Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation Board and the EEOC. His prior experience includes in-house counsel for the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency, where he protected the Agency through litigation in federal court, bankruptcy court and state court, and counseled agency client during administrative hearings and for various business initiatives.

He holds his JD from Widener University’s School of Law, an LL.M from Temple University's Beasley School of Law, and a BA in Speech Communications from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. He currently serves as a Board Member for Harrisburg Young Professionals and for Leadership Harrisburg Area.
